It takes about 42-50 minutes from Ueno to Utsunomiya Station on the JR Tōhoku/Yamagata Shinkansen "Tsubasa", "Yamabiko" and "Nasuno". The Japan Rail Pass requires an additional fee when using non-ordinary cars.
[Car]
It takes about 1 hour and 43 minutes from Yoga IC to Kanuma IC on the Metropolitan Expressway/Tōhoku Expressway.
[High-speed bus]
It takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes from Haneda Airport to Utsunomiya Station.

[Railway]
Take the JR Tōkaidō Shinkansen "Nozomi" train from Shin-Osaka Station to Tokyo Station for about 2 hours 21 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes.
