| Event Details | This festival has been held for about 600 years. Lanterns attached to bamboo poles illuminate the streets of Yamaguchi in a warm red glow. Parades featuring lantern floats, known as "Chōchin Yamakasa," are also held, making it a beloved summer tradition in Yamaguchi. |
