Fukushima

City Overview

The area around Mount Bandai, which is dotted with lakes such as Lake Inawashiro and Lake Hibara, is a lush plateau resort. Goshikonuma, where you can enjoy a variety of lake colors, is a scenic spot that has received a 1-star rating for the "Michelin Green Guide" in 2016. We also recommend leisurely trekking while enjoying the clear air. Also popular are areas where you can enjoy walking around the city while feeling the history, such as castle town Aizuwakamatsu, Kura no-machi, Kitakata, and post hall and Ouchi-juku.
