Take the JR Tōkaidō Shinkansen "Nozomi" train from Shin-Osaka Station to Tokyo Station for about 2 hours 21 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes. For access from Tokyo Station to Mito Station, refer to the Tokyo traffic column. About 4 hours and 30 minutes in total. The Japan Rail Pass requires an additional fee when using other than Nozomi and ordinary cars.
