It takes about 8 hours and 5 minutes to get to Fukui Station from Tokyo Station Blackjibashi Car Park.

From Shin-Osaka Station to Tsuruga Station on the JR Tōkaidō Main Line (JR Kyoto Line), Kosai Line and Hokuriku Main Line Limited "Thunderbird", about 1 hour 16 minutes to 1 hour 23 minutes. Transfer to the JR Hokuriku Shinkansen "Hakutaka", "Kagayaki" and "Tsurugi" at Tsuruga Station, about 16-21 minutes to Fukui Station. About 2 hours in total. The Japan Rail Pass requires an additional fee when using other than Grand Class and ordinary cars.
