The Kumano Sanzan, consisting of the Honmiya Taisha, Hayatama Taisha, and Nachi Taisha, and Kōyama, where Kūkai opened, is a sacred place revered from ancient times. It is said to be the "Ant of Kumano Oka", and it is said that many people have been continuously involved. Nakaheji from Tanabe to Kumano Honmiya, Obe Road from Tanabe to Nachi/Shinmiya, and Kobe Road from Koyasan to Kumano Honmiya were listed as World Heritage Sites under the name of "Kumano Sanpōmichi", and the road was certified as a global rarity. Shirahama is a major resort with coastal views and leisure facilities. Hot spring tours are also attractive.

From Haneda Airport to Nanki Shirahama Airport about 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes.
[Railway]
Take the JR Tōkaidō Shinkansen "Nozomi" train from Tokyo Station to Shin-Osaka Station for about 2 hours 21 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes. Transfer from Shin-Osaka Station to JR Hanwa Line limited express "Kuroshio" approximately 1 hour 2 minutes to 1 hour 12 minutes to Wakayama Station. Total about 4 hours. The Japan Rail Pass requires an additional fee when using other than Nozomi and ordinary cars.

From Tokyo IC, take Tomei Expressway/Shin-Tomei Expressway/Ise Gan-do/Shin-Meijin Expressway/Meijin Expressway/Keiji Bypass/Daini-Keihan Road/Kinki Expressway/Hanwa-do to Wakayama IC for about 6 hours and 15 minutes.

JR Hanwa Line Limited Express "Kuroshio" from Shin-Osaka Station to Wakayama Station about 1 hour 2 minutes to 1 hour 12 minutes. The Japan Rail Pass requires an additional fee if you use a non-ordinary car.

Suita IC to Wakayama IC by Meishin Expressway/Kinki-do/Hanwa-do, about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
[High-speed bus]
It takes about three hours from Osaka Station to the front of the Kinan Cultural Center.
